Ranchi, March 9 -- International Women's Day was celebrated at NABARD Jharkhand Regional Office at Khelgaon Housing Complex, Ranchi, highlighting the remarkable contribution of rural women entrepreneurs and self-help groups (SHGs), artisans and FPOs. Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Government of Jharkhand Deepika Pandey Singh was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
The other dignitaries present included Padma Shri awardee Chami Murmu, Environmentalist, Bibha Singh, Chairperson, Jharkhand State Cooperative Bank, Shikha Chowdhary, Regional Manager, Bank of Maharashtra and women entrepreneurs, artisans and FPO members from all over Jharkhand.
