Bhopal, April 11 -- A 33-year-old woman from Einthkhedi village in outskirts of Bhopal committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of her two-storey house late Wednesday night. The woman, identified as Rani, succumbed to her injuries during treatment on Thursday morning. Police have launched a manhunt for the unidentified youth with whom she had a heated argument moments before taking the fatal step.
According to Einthkhedi police station in-charge Durjan Singh, the incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Wednesday. Rani, who had returned to her maternal home after separating from her husband three years ago, had reportedly been battling depression.
