Bhopal, March 29 -- After scorching daytime temperatures, warm nights have started adding to the discomfort, with no respite even after sunset. On Thursday night, lightning was witnessed in the state capital, but it failed to bring any rainfall.

In the past 24 hours, Shivpuri experienced both a heatwave and a warm night, making it one of the hottest regions in the state. While dry weather persisted across all divisions, Shivpuri stood out due to its extreme temperature conditions.

No major fluctuations were recorded in daytime temperatures across the state. However, in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, and Shahdol divisions, temperatures rose above normal by 1.9degC to 2.5degC. On Friday, Bhopal recorded a maximum temperature of 34.9degC, w...
