Ranchi, March 6 -- The third phase of residential training organised for visually impaired children under Project Jyoti implemented in collaboration with Jharkhand Education Project Council and Mjunction, concluded on Wednesday.

During this training, visually impaired children were given information about technology based education and effective use of ICT in inclusive education. Special teachers and children from Ranchi, Khunti and Gumla participated in this three- day workshop.

Under Project Jyoti, the children were given smartphones for ease of reading. With the help of the smartphone, visually impaired children were told about online libraries, news, other information, and absentee knowledge and mobility.
