Bhopal, June 25 -- A violent altercation occurred between vehicle owners and toll plaza employees at the Amalaha toll booth in Sehore on Monday afternoon, leaving two individuals injured, one of whom was referred to Bhopal in critical condition. The incident, which took place around 4:40 PM, saw the use of sticks and shovels.
Sub Inspector Avinash Bhopale reported that the confrontation began when a group of vehicle owners demanded free passage through the toll booth. When toll staff objected, a heated argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Over 20 individuals, reportedly from Ashta, Hakimabad, and Sehore, attacked the toll workers and vandalized the toll office, even attempting to break the toll barrier.
