Chandigarh/Rohtak, Feb. 3 -- Haryana Power Minister Anil Vij on Sunday conducted a surprise inspection at Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam's grievance redressal cell in Rohtak, and reviewed the process of resolving consumer complaints. He directed the officers to ensure that all complaints are addressed within the stipulated time.

Vij spoke directly with consumers on phone in the presence of officers to check whether their complaints had been resolved. When he found that a complaint had remained unresolved even after 24 hours, he directed the Superintending Engineer (SE) to investigate and take action against the concerned staff.
