Bhopal, May 15 -- Taking suo motu cognisance of the controversial remarks made by Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah, the Madhya Pradesh High Court's division bench of Justices Atul Shridharan and Anuradha Shukla has ordered the police to register a first information report (FIR) against the minister. The court had given the police a deadline of 6 pm on Wednesday, to file the FIR. If the FIR is not registered by the specified time, the Director General of Police (DGP) has been instructed that contempt of court proceedings will be initiated on May 15.
