Bhopal, June 17 -- The police teams from Kohefiza and Shahjahanabad police stations have busted a gang involved in a series of vehicle thefts in Bhopal. Acting on sustained surveillance and intelligence inputs, the police arrested seven accused and recovered eight stolen two-wheelers, along with dismantled parts of at least three other vehicles. The total value of the recovery is estimated at approximately Rs 7.5 lakh.

The investigation was launched following a complaint lodged by Sanjana Verma on May 21, 2025, reporting the theft of her Suzuki Access (MP04-ZQ-8345) from the parking area of Shikha Tower in Nayapura during the night of May 20.
