New Delhi, May 13 -- Amid ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the second part of the Delhi Assembly's Budget session, which was set to commence on Tuesday, has been cancelled. During the session, the government was likely to table and pass the Delhi School Education Transparency in Fixation and Regulation of Fees Bill, 2025, to regulate private school fees.

Neither the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat nor the Delhi government gave any specific reason for cancelling the session. Sources, however, said that the decision would have been taken due to the ongoing tensions between the two countries.
