India, May 3 -- A man was arrested on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh's Noida by the Special Task Force (STF) of UP Police for allegedly posting an AI-generated "deep fake" video on X (formerly Twitter) of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Additional Director General of Police (UP STF) Amitabh Yash said that the video was used to spread misleading facts, strengthening anti-national elements, "On May 1, an AI-generated deep fake video of the Uttar Pradesh chief minister went viral after it was posted on X from a handle.
