Lucknow, Feb. 10 -- The Uttar Pradesh assembly secretariat on Sunday issued notification for the budget session from February 18.
The budget session, being the first session of 2025, will commence with the joint address to both the houses of the state legislature by Governor Anandiben Patel.
The UP cabinet, on February 7, had adopted the resolution for convening the budget session from February 18.
During the session, the Yogi Adityanath government will present the annual budget for 2025-26. The size of the 2025-26 budget is expected to be Rs 8 lakh crore. This will be the ninth budget to be presented by the Yogi Adityanath government.
