New Delhi, June 6 -- A 24-year-old undertrial prisoner was allegedly murdered by two fellow inmates inside the Saket court lock-up on Thursday.
The incident took place when the deceased, identified as Aman, a resident of Govindpuri, had been brought to the court for a scheduled hearing in an attempted murder case against him.
Police said the three knew each other. The accused first banged the head of Aman, 24, on the wall of the cell and then pinned him down and strangled him with their feet.
