Bhopal, March 13 -- Leaders, Leader of the State Assembly Umang Singhar has strongly criticized the budget, branding it a 'Karz Ka Budget' (budget of debt). Singhar alleged that the government's reliance on borrowing would push the state into a financial crisis and questioned the sustainability of its ambitious spending plans.

In response, Finance Minister Devda defended the borrowing, clarifying that all loans are taken with the approval of the Government of India and are directed towards capital development projects.
