Mumbai, June 27 -- Ahead of joining hands to contest the crucial Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls, the Thackeray cousins - Uddhav and Raj -came on the same page on Thursday and announced their plans to stage protests against the BJP-led MahaYuti Government's decision to make Hindi as a "third language" for the Class 1st to 5th students in Marathi and English medium schools in the State.
While the Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will take out a padyatra from Girgaum Chowpatty to Azad Maidan on July 5 (Saturday) to protest against Hindi being made "third language" in school, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) would hold a rally on the same issue at Azad Maidan on July 7 (Monday).
