Shimla, June 26 -- Himachal Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday held a meeting with Secretary General of Ministry of Economy, United Arab Emirate (UAE) Jamal Al Jarwan at Dubai.
A press statement issued here said the Chief Minister apprised the Secretary General regarding immense investment potential available in the State in various sectors like food processing, logistics, tourism and power etc.
The UAE official said that UAE was looking at India for investment in food processing, logistics and infrastructure. He appreciated that currently India and UAE are doing 60 billion dollar trade and the UAE Government was endeavouring to make it to 100 billion dollars.
