India, Oct. 9 -- The Army has launched search operations in the dense forests of south Kashmir's to locate two para commandos after they went missing during an anti-terrorist strike on October 6.

Both the men were part of the joint anti-terror operations aimed at neutralising the terrorists hiding in the area. The duo reportedly lost contact with their unit and has remained untraceable since Monday evening.

Braving inclement weather, security forces have been conducting thorough searches with the help of helicopters, drones and a dog squad to recover the para troopers.
