Bhopal, May 27 -- In a shocking daylight attack, liquor contractors Mahendra Bhadoria (uncle) and his 24-year-old nephew Sourav Bhadoria were brutally shot dead near Bhaikhan Ka Pura village in Morena's Sihoniya area on Monday. The victims, who held a legal liquor vending contract, had been working to curb illegal liquor sales in the region when they were ambushed by liquor smugglers.
The attack occurred when the contractors, accompanied by three associates, set up a check near a canal bridge to intercept smugglers. A black Swift car, carrying illegal liquor, arrived at the scene.
