Garhwa, March 21 -- The police have cracked the shooting incident that occurred on March 7, 2025, in the Chiniya police station area of Garhwa district. In this case, Garhwa police have arrested two suspects. This information was provided by SP Deepak Kumar Pandey during a press conference at the auditorium of the district collectorate. He mentioned that the incident was carried out due to a dispute related to the MGNREGA scheme.
30 PM, Yogendra Prasad (40 years old), a resident of Sigsigakhurd village, was near Tahle Ghati when two armed assailants on a motorcycle shot at him. Yogendra managed to escape with his life, but a bullet got lodged in his neck, which was later removed through surgery. He is currently in good health.
