Lohardaga, June 30 -- In a terrifying incident late Saturday night, a herd of wild elephants caused significant destruction in the Kairo block headquarters of Jharkhand's Lohardaga district. Amid heavy rainfall, the elephants emerged from the Sadhabe forest and made their way through Nayatoli toward the main chouk, leaving behind a trail of damage. According to local sources, the herd first entered the under construction house of local trader Nawab Khan in Nayatoli. Fortunately, no one was physically harmed. As the elephants moved on, they overturned an auto-rickshaw belonging to Kabir Khan.
