Jamshedpur, May 20 -- Mohan Rawat, Senior Instructor at Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF), has successfully summited the world's highest peak, Mount Everest, on May 18, 2025, at 5:20 am (Nepal Time). This remarkable feat adds another proud chapter to TSAF's mountaineering legacy, with 13 successful Everest summits now recorded under its banner since Padma Bhushan Bachendri Pal first scaled the peak in 1984.

Rawat embarked on his Everest expedition from India on April 10. After a brief delay in Kathmandu due to permit issues, he reached the Everest Base Camp (17,500 ft) on May 3, trekking through the iconic Khumbu Valley.
