Bhopal, April 14 -- A fatal head-on collision in the early hours of Sunday claimed the life of a truck driver near Vrindavan Dhaba under the Misrod police station area of the state capital. The accident occurred around 4 a.m., when an Eicher truck collided with a dumper, killing the Eicher driver on the spot due to the sheer impact of the crash.
Eyewitnesses stated that the collision was so severe that the driver was trapped inside the cabin, complicating rescue operations and delaying recovery efforts. According to locals, the dumper was carrying ballast, which scattered across the road, indicating that it was heavily loaded at the time of the crash.
