India, Jan. 6 -- Days after issuing a travel advisory for Venezuela, India on Monday cautioned its nationals against non-essential travel to Iran, citing the country's ongoing internal conflict and security concerns.In an advisory dated January 5, 2026, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said Indian citizens are advised to avoid all non-essential travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran until further notice.
