DALTONGANJ, April 26 -- Traffic police team led by its incharge Samal Ahmad today rescued ten occupants of a Xylo car which quite abruptly caught fire near the Redma chowk in Daltonganj today.
The car was moving and enroute to Tarhassi some 36 kms away from Daltonganj when smoke began to come out from the rear of the car at the Redma chowk.
It took very little time when flames started rising. Samal Ahmad without getting into any panic got the car safely parked and then women and children were first rescued.
Male occupants managed themselves. Belongings of the occupants remained safe.
Sources said had there been any delay in detecting the smokes first, there would have been by now a different script.
