New Delhi, June 12 -- In a move aimed at easing traffic congestion and enhancing commuter safety, the Delhi Traffic Police is planning to redesign the MRV cut, a well-known traffic choke point in Dwarka, officials said on Wednesday.
The cut, located near Azad Hind Fauj Marg and named after the nearby MRV School, connects commuters travelling from the ISKCON temple side towards Sector 3 and Matiala village. Currently, the layout of the cut causes vehicles from opposite directions to directly face each other, creating frequent bottlenecks and posing a serious risk of accidents.
