India, Oct. 16 -- Latest trade figures indicate that India's exports and imports are going through crucial shifts. Although it is early to pinpoint long-term implications, as the macro situation is still in a flux, the patterns may be important for the policy-makers. In September, 2025, although the goods exports inched a bit, there were hints that the high American tariff may be curbing them. The flip side is that since March 2025, when monthly exports peaked at nearly $42 billion this year, there has been an overall declining trend.
