Ranchi, June 13 -- Divisional Railway Manager Jasmeet Singh Bindra and Chief Electrical Distribution Engineer, South Eastern Railway Headquarters, Sunil Sahu inaugurated a new diesel electric tower car at Hatia Railway Station and flagged it off on Thursday. Works like repair, maintenance, inspection and patrolling of overhead equipment (OHE) are done on electrified railway sections through the tower car.
This high quality tower car is equipped with all the latest facilities. It has two engines of 340 HP, traction alternator, power rectifier, traction motor, auxiliary alternator, motor switch and other equipment.
