New Delhi, April 7 -- The Tourism Ministry has come to the rescue of a number of foreign tourists including an American, two Costa Ricans and an Australian family stranded in India. As many as 769 foreign tourists have reached out to the Government for help and support amid the 21-day nationwide lockdown to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

The foreign tourists registered themselves on the Tourism Ministry's portal strandedinindia.com, launched five days ago. The portal has been launched to identify, assist and facilitate foreign tourists who are stranded in various parts of India.
