New Delhi, July 16 -- Trinamool Congress MPs, including Sagarika Ghose, Sukhendu Sekhar Roy and Saket Gokhale, continued their dharna at the Jai Hind Camp here on Tuesday over the disconnection of electricity to the settlement dominated by Bengali-speaking people.
They were joined by TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien this morning.
Besides Ghose, Roy and Gokhale, TMC MP Dola Sen is also sitting on the 24-hour protest, which began at 3 pm on Monday. The locals have joined the MPs in the protest.
Electricity was disconnected to the camp following a court order on July 8 in an encroachment case.
Ghose posted a video of some locals on X in which they deplored the action.
