Ranchi, March 22 -- Strong winds, thunder and lightning along with hailstorm have damaged crops in many areas of the state including the capital Ranchi. In view of this situation, Agriculture Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey has asked to assess the damage to crops due to rain and hailstorm across the state including all five blocks of Mandar and submit a report within three days.
At the same time, the state's Disaster Management Minister Irfan Ansari has assured to pay compensation very soon for the damage to crops due to lightning and hailstorm.
