BHOPAL, Feb. 20 -- A couple and their daughter lost their lives, while two other family members sustained injuries after their speeding car crashed into a parked truck in Maihar district, Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Maihar Kotwali police station in-charge Animesh Dwivedi stated that the accident occurred around 1:30 PM when the family was returning to Mumbai after attending the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, leading to a fatal collision with a stationary truck near Narora village on National Highway 30, approximately 20 km from the district headquarters.
