Dhanbad, Jan. 25 -- Bomb disposal squad from Jaguar Ranchi on Sunday defused three live bombs that were recovered from old railway quarters under Dhansar police station area.
The bombs were kept in a carton in a locked house that has been illegally occupied by select "criminal type" persons of the locality, told Jairam Prasad officer - in- charge of the Dhansar police station.
Bombs were recovered following tip off from a criminal who was arrested on Saturday night.
As the bombs were recovered, the Dhanbad police called the disposal squad from Ranchi that disposed off the bombs and also checked for more such bombs in surrounding but nothing was found.
Prasad said, interrogation of the criminal arrested is on by senior officers.
