India, Nov. 10 -- Thousands of residents took part in a "Unity Run" held in South Delhi on Sunday to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of India's Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The march, led by South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, began from Savitri Barat Ghar on Bandh Road in Sangam Vihar and passed through several neighbourhoods in the constituency.
BJP district president Maya Bisht, senior party leaders, and hundreds of workers joined the march, waving the national flag and chanting slogans of "Long Live Sardar Patel." The event was marked by patriotic fervour, with participants carrying banners and singing national songs. Trees were also planted along the route as part of the celebration.
