Gurugram, July 11 -- A 25-year-old State-level tennis player, Radhika Yadav, was allegedly shot dead by her father in the Sector-57 area of Gurugram on Thursday morning.
The tragic incident occurred around 10:30 am on the first floor of their residence. According to the Gurugram Police, Radhika's father, Deepak Yadav, fired three rounds at her using his licensed revolver following a heated argument. She sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where she succumbed during treatment.
Sandeep Kumar, the public relations officer of Gurugram Police, confirmed the arrest of the accused from the scene and said the murder weapon - a licensed revolver - has been recovered from the house.
