India, Nov. 22 -- A Tejas fighter jet of Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on Friday at the Dubai air show and the pilot died. A court of inquiry has been ordered by IAF to ascertain the cause of mishap.
The accident took place during an aerial display at the ongoing air show. Visuals of the crashed captured by many television channels showed the light combat aircraft losing altitude and then crashing on the ground. The jet was engulfed in a ball of fire. No casualties were reported, so far, on the ground. The crash took place at about 3.50 pm IST, it was learnt.
