Lucknow, June 27 -- Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday said the academic session in all engineering colleges and polytechnics under the administrative control of Technical Education department was running as per schedule.
There are three technical universities, 14 government-aided affiliated engineering colleges, 600 private engineering colleges, 147 government-run polytechnics, 19 government-aided polytechnics, 1,117 private polytechnics and six polytechnics owned and run by other government departments under the administrative control of the Technical Education department.
