Ranchi, Sept. 6 -- Flag bearers of Gandhian philosophy, Tana Bhagats of Jharkhand, today ended their agitation on Railway tracks near Tori Railway Station in Latehar district after 55 hours on the assurance of the Chief Minister that their issues will be legitimately resolved by the State government. A delegation of Tana Bhagats met the CM at his residence on Saturday on the CM's invitation.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to the CM regarding their demands and problems. In the course of the talks, Soren said that the State government will soon take a legal decision on various demands of the Tana Bhagat community.
