India, Sept. 11 -- In the backdrop of unpredictable situation in the Himalayan nation, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday assured that her Government is in constant touch with the embassies of Nepal and India for safe return of the city residents.

Meanwhile, Nepalese nationals in the national Capital are worried about the safety of their families back home and are praying for the current situation to ease there.

In a post on X, the Chief Minister said she had a long telephonic conversation with Nepal's Ambassador to India, Shankar Sharma, and India's Ambassador to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava.
