BHUBANESWAR, Jan. 15 -- Housing and Urban Development, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water and Law Minister Pratap Jena on Tuesday stressed on taking steps for strengthening women self-help groups (SHGs) in the urban areas and helping the members become self-reliant.
The Minister stated this while chairing the 20th management committee meeting of the State Urban Development Agency (SUDA) here. He asked officers to take steps for providing modern techniques to SHGs for production of different items that can be sold in competitive market in national and international level.
