New Delhi, June 23 -- In a major milestone for India's regional rapid transit infrastructure, the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has successfully conducted a full-length timetable trial run of the Namo Bharat trains between Sarai Kale Khan in Delhi and Modipuram in Meerut, officials said on Sunday.
The high-speed trains completed the entire 82-km journey in less than one hour, stopping at every station along the route and adhering precisely to the planned timetable.
