Hisar/Chandigarh, June 26 -- After days of protests, an agreement has been reached between the government and the students of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, with the Vice-Chancellor Dr BR Kamboj likely to be sent on an extended leave of six months. Sources said that the State Government has assured the students that their demands would be implemented in a phased manner. As a result, the students have decided to suspend their agitation. They, however, said that the 'dharna' would only be removed after demands were accepted in writing.
