Lucknow, March 28 -- The Director General of Police (DGP) of Uttar Pradesh Prashant Kumar has issued strict directives to ensure robust security arrangements for Alvida Namaz and the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations across the state.
"The primary objective of these measures is to maintain peace and harmony during the festive period," the DGP said here on Thursday. Security forces have been instructed to monitor sensitive areas using drone cameras. This will help keep a close watch on anti-social elements and prevent any untoward incidents.
