STF nabs main accused in fake BAMS degree case from Ajmer
DEHRADUN, Feb. 4 -- The Uttarakhand Special Task Force (STF) arrested Imlakh Khan, the main accused in the counterfeit Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree case, from Ajmer on Thursday. Khan, who owns Baba College of Studies in Muzaffarnagar, has been allegedly providing such counterfeit degrees to many people for over a decade and some of whom are suspected to be working as government employees. The senior superintendent of police of STF, Ayush Agrawal said that the STF had busted a gang of Ayurvedic doctors practicing in Dehradun with fake BAMS degrees last week.
