Bhopal, May 20 -- The Supreme Court's recent decision to stay the arrest of Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Vijay Shah has provided him temporary relief. The apex court has prohibited any immediate arrest while the Special Investigation Team (SIT) continues its probe into his controversial statements.
With the stay on his arrest, Vijay Shah will continue to hold his Cabinet minister position. This ruling allows the investigation to proceed without causing disruption to the functioning of the government.
