Ranchi, June 19 -- Jharkhand has bagged a silver medal in the 6-8 class category National Yoga Olympiad competition organized from 15 June 2025 to 18 June 2025 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Upasana Kumari of CM School of Excellence (Girls), Sakchi Jamshedpur has made the state proud. Upasana stood second in the girls' category competition. A total of 132 girls from all over the country participated in this class category.
Before participating in the National Yoga Olympiad, Upasana had succeeded in the state level Yoga Olympiad organized under 'Yogmay Jharkhand', after which Upasana was also provided special training by the School Education and Literacy Department, Government of Jharkhand.
