BHOPAL, March 7 -- Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that the empowerment of any nation depends on the empowerment of its states. He advocated for an increase in the states' share of central taxes and revenue grants, highlighting that states work towards their goals with their capacity and limited resources. Enhanced financial grants from the central government would enable states to achieve long-term objectives more efficiently. He stressed that a Vikasit Bharat requires a Vikasit Madhya Pradesh, urging an increase in the states' share of central taxes from 41 percent to 48 percent.
