BHUBANESWAR, Sept. 24 -- The Covid-19 death toll climbed to 736 as 15 more patients succumbed to the virus on Wednesday, the highest so far in a single day in the State.
Four patients died in Bhubaneswar (Khordha district) while two deaths each were reported in Puri and Mayurbhanj districts and one each in Baleswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and Nuapada districts, the Health and Family Welfare Department said.
The deaths in Bhubaneswar were of a 62-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, a 42-year-old man and a 70-year-old man. The Puri deceased were a 70-year-old man and a 72-year-old man.
