Bhopal, June 19 -- The state-level Gaushala (cow shelter) conference will be held on Friday, June 20, starting at 12 noon, at the Chief Minister's residence premises in Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Lakhan Patel, will attend the conference. Government and non-government cow shelter operators and representatives from all districts of the state have been invited to participate.
Principal Secretary of Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Umakant Umrao, informed that an amount of approximately 50 crore rupees will be allocated for the management of cattle in gaushalas.
