Ranchi, Sept. 21 -- The day on which Modi government managed to get the controversial farm bill passed in Rajya Sabha, the State BJP unit defended the bill claiming that critics are misleading farmers on farm bills.
On Sunday, despite ruckus created by opposition and BJP allies partners Akali Dal, BJD and TRS opposing the bill, the Rajya Sabha passed the-- Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020 and the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill, 2020 of the three it had proposed and got passed in the Lok Sabha. The government is likely to introduce the third bill in the Upper House of Parliament on Monday.
