Lucknow, April 1 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's warning to fix responsibility of the officials who fail to check sale of spurious liquor in their area besides invoking Gangsters Act against the culprits seems to have failed to get the desired results as one more tragedy hit Pratapgarh district on Tuesday night when four people, including two brothers, died after consuming spurious liquor.

The incident took place in Katariya village of Udaypur area, police sources said on Wednesday.

Last week, four persons had died after consuming spurious liquor in Pratapgarh district while spurious liquor had claimed eight lives in Chitrakoot last week after which several officials were placed under suspension.
