Jamshedpur, Feb. 6 -- In a major step towards promoting sports and nurturing local talent, Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art stadium at the Kancha football ground of Ghaghidih Panchayat under Jamshedpur block. This ambitious project, sanctioned under the Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs Department, is set to be completed within a year at an estimated cost of Rs 70 lakh.
The stadium, with a seating capacity of 8,000 spectators, aims to provide world-class sports facilities to young athletes of the region.
